Monte has not been able to secure a fishing kitchen pass lately but his friend, Rock Hudman went Monday, March 12 on a small lake near his home in Fairfield, TX and landed this nice 5 pounder.

The name of the lake is Redlake. It is very small and there are cabins all around it. Looks like a great place to live. He went with a friend who said this lake produces 10+ pound bass regularly. That kind of talk tends to make a dink out of Roy's 5 pounder.

The brute was caught next to new cattails with a texas rigged 12" black/maroon worm just as dusk was coming on. Monte and Ryan are headed to Ray Roberts this afternoon, March 13. Hopefully we will have pictures to brag about.
