Monte's Family
Here is Monte and his wife Laura on vacation in Galveston. This picture was taken at a restaurant on the seawall. Laura usually doesn't like to pose for pictures but she made an exception this time. Sidney was supervising from Daddy's arms. Galveston is the preferred vacation destination for our family. It may have something to do with Monte's childhood. His parents loved to take family vacations to Galveston Island too. In fact, one of the fishing party boats that Monte fished from as a boy is still in operation today. The Texun II. Monte never thought he would be taking his sons fishing on it someday. Well someday is here because we sacked em the last time we went offshore.

Laura is behind the camera in the next picture. Will is on the left, then Seth, Ryan, Monte, Sidney, and Sarah. We stayed at the Galvez Hotel which is absolutely beautiful. It sits right on the seawall and just accross from the beach. Laura really likes it because there is easy access to the trolly from there. She is very nervous to drive on the island and the trolly gives her access to the restored downtown district called The Strand. This area has all kinds of shops that she and daughter Sarah love to frequent while the guys are out fishing.
