Monte headed to Fairfield and fished with long time fishin buddy Roy (Rock) Hudman. The wise acre outfished Monte again! He caught this nice 18 1/4 inch long bass about an hour into our trip on lake fairfield. It was in about 5 foot of water and bit a 12 inch long purple culprit worm.

He later caught another one on a white trick worm, But it wasn't very large (not picture worthy). Monte, however, had not caught anything and we were running out of daylight fast. Monte started whining about needing a pity fish. He got it soon afterwards with the dink of the day. Roy attempted to patronize him saying "thats a nice one" but Monte knew he was being a wise acre again. Minor brow-beating ensued. The dink bit a bright yellow culprit trick worm in about 4 feet of water.

These pictures were taken with Rock's new Polaroid digital camera. Not bad for $70 bucks. According to Roy, it will hold 60 shots. No flash though. But maybe thats all we should expect for that kind of money.
