Ryan and I
finally went fishing on Ray Roberts. We should have gone to Lewisville to hunt the stripers because the weather turned sour on us as we pulled up to the boat ramp. We managed to get out of the wind behind the main lake point. Ryan had this drum hit a Shad Rap while trolling (we got the polaroid wet again which accounts for the blob on Ryan's hand).
I hung a
nice 15 inch black bass on a white Model-A but the wet film didn't take. A few minutes later I caught this Sand Bass on the same bait.
Sadly, there were no other fish caught on this trip. I think we picked the wrong lake for the weather. Those stripers that I have been wanting to fish for were probably real hungry.
