WOOHOO!!!!
Monte finally got his new (used) boat. It is a 1988 Legend Winner model, 18 foot long and real wide. It has a 115 Mercury outboard along with so many bells and whistles it may take a while before Monte figures them all out. It also came with a set of down riggers. Look out, Texoma Stripers!
All 4 men of the family went tubing on Labor Day at Lake Ray Roberts and fun was had by all. But the best part was that all 4 of us had plenty of room in our bigger boat.
Our fishing expeditions will resume real soon so check back with us. Monte wants to take an early trip to the weed beds west of Wolf Island with some live shad.
