Monte

finally fixed his boat steering last weekend at Roy's house in Fairfield. We fished Fairfield Lake 3 times during my visit and came up empty all three times. We even woke up early Saturday morning and caught shad. But we couldn't get any interested fish. We saw them all over the graph but they just wouldn't bite. Monte prefers to think they were carp.

Monte and Ryan hunted the white bass Monday and Tuesday on Lake Ray Roberts. We caught a few each day but nothing spectactular to report. The birds were schooling real good but there didn't seem to be many sandies underneath. However, one no longer needs the strength of a lumberjack to steer the boat. It can be done with one finger now.
