We had to troll for them but we caught alot of sand bass. We trolled around the edge of the weed beds. Everytime we got underway, someone would catch a fish. It was great. I thought I was hung on a stump at one point, then the stump started fighting real hard. It wasn't a sand bass. I was so excited! It was a bass, a big bass! I couldn't believe how hard it was fighting. I played him for quite a while. It was stripping line off then it came to the top but didn't jump but we saw the swirl. All of a sudden it ran at the boat and spit the hook. It bit a white model-A right on the edge of the weed beds. She is still out there.
No film in the boat because I nearly sank the boat a couple of weeks ago when the bilge pump went out on a very rough day. It soaked both cameras and ruined the film. I will try to get more before our next trip.

friends, the Kohler's got a brand new Glastron Ski rig. Man is it pretty! We headed out to Ray Roberts together. The Green's in their boat and the Kohlers in their boat. We went to sand bass flats where the giant weed beds are next to Wolf Island.
