Monte Ray Bob Sand Bass finally secured a kitchen pass from the little woman to go fishing again. His last trip was early January and his last good trip was before Christmas. Monte has been moving but now lives only about 15 minutes away from Ray Roberts (woohoo!).

We fished Ray Bob for the first time since early November. That is just too long! We caught a couple Saturday with the Rock (Roy Hudman). But Seth, Ryan, and Monte caught a dozen sandies Monday evening between 4:30 and 6:30. We trolled the main lake point with chrome colored and white colored model-A's. The graph looked like we should have been foul hooking them. They were all over the place. No birds though. Just happened to find them there at the main lake point. If you have a hankerin for some sand bass action, that is usually a pretty good place to look for them.

Monte is at home with the kids on spring break this week. Mucho fishing is on the calendar.
