Seth
and I went to Lake Ray Roberts to catch some more sandbass. But only a few were cooperating (we caught 9 sandies). So after a couple of hours of that we headed into Wolf Creek for some Black Bass.
We caught these between the tree line at the mouth of Wolf Creek and the red barn. We hit the cedar trees the hardest. Seth was throwing a red spinner bait with red blades. I was working a black/blue jig with a purple salted 6" worm trailer. Seth actually saw his fish hit the red spinner bait. He said it was REAL cool! No more than 5 minutes later mine hit the jig. That was cool too! It was 17" long and had spots all over it. It didn't look sick and it fought like a bear. Does anyone know what the spots mean? Is this some different kind of bass?
Anyway, we ran out of daylight far too quickly. We will bass more next time. Good luck everybody!
