boat has been sold. Thanks for all of the interest in it. I am sure the new owners will be very pleased with it. Monte was.
This 1983 Cajun 16 footer has a 90 Horse Evinrude, 2 live wells, new trolling motor, new eagle fish finder, and lots of extras that have been added over the years.
The motor has just been overhauled too. Piston #3 threw a ring in June. We were amazed at how well the inside of the motor looked. Other than cylinder #3 we could find no wear at all. Even the bad cylinder looked great. All it needed was some very mild honing. We honed all of the cylinders, replaced all of the piston rings, replaced piston #3, replaced the center crank bearings (even though they had no signs of wear), and all of the gaskets. We also didn't like the way many of the hoses looked so we replaced them as well.
We have only had the boat out a couple of hours since the engine overhaul so it hasn't even been broken in yet. This motor is just like a brand new one. Kinda hate to sell her but I just couldn't pass up a really good deal on a bigger boat that came my way.
