The Boat Dock

April 23, 1999 We have been fishing a local park pond for a couple of days while the wind was out of control. The catfish have been keeping us busy. We noticed that the smaller yellow cats will steal your bait by nipping at it until it is gone. The bigger channel cats tend to slam it hard.

Here are pictures of just a few of the fish we have been catching there at Green Valley Park. It is a very large park with several soccer fields, baseball fields, and playgrounds. We met Jill and Zoe (featured in one of the pictures) while fighting a big channel cat. They were there for a soccer game. Turns out they are in the same league with my daughter, Sarah. She recognized their picture when we arrived home.

I have noticed some good reports comming from Ray Roberts the past couple of days. Ryan and I will probably try the bass again on Monday. See you out there.
